So, by this point you all should know the plot of our film is about a girl's birthday and the natural disastrous event that occurs on it, eventually changing her life. From the beginning of the film, it is very clear to the viewers that her birthday is a momentous occasion for Berkley. The disaster is very disappointing for everyone but the significance of that date has led us to name our film... drum roll please... Birthday Blues!!
Birthday Blues is a psychology term that basically means feeling abnormally disapointed or sad on your birthday. Although as a child, birthdays are glamorized and seem like the best day of your life, as you get older, this feeling begins to fade and can be replaced with a phenomena known as 'birthday blues'. Whether it is the feeling of being let down, scared of aging, or about a million other factors, birthday blues are very real and felt in millions of people across the world every day.
