I hope you are all as excited as I am to announce this, today I will explain the plot of our film opening and overall film!!! It has taken a ton of research, revisions, critiques, and changes but we have finally found "the one"!
Plot
Our film will begin with a girl shown in her bedroom on a momentous occasion. Various shots will illustrate the variety of features in her room such as a calendar with today’s date marked off as her birthday, jewelry, her colorful wardrobe, and more belongings showing her personality. This will introduce the setting and show how the environment around her has and has not influenced who she is today. Her phone is heard blowing up however she ignores it, assuming it is her friends wishing her a happy birthday. She gets dressed and ready, spending an excessive amount of time on her hair, makeup, and clothes due to her excitement regarding her birthday. She is ready to leave the house and go to school when she grabs her phone. By the time she reaches the door, she turns her phone on to learn she will not be attending school. This is the start of a global disaster!! She goes outside and it looks abandoned and gloomy. She walks out and gets locked out of her house, her mom yells at her to come back in and discusses the situation in a serious manner. Eventually, the girl overcomes the issue and learns how to adapt and change her life to fit in the changing times.
